User Data Deletion
This page explains how users can request deletion of their account data from Athlone Union of Parishes digital services, including accounts created through Google or Facebook login.
How to request deletion
Send an email to office@athloneunion.ie with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- Your full name.
- The email address used for your account.
- Whether you signed in using password, Google, or Facebook.
- A clear statement that you want your account data deleted.
What data will be deleted
- Member account profile details.
- Linked social login identities (Google/Facebook) associated with your account.
- Session and access records used for account authentication.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required by law, safeguarding obligations, security investigations, or legitimate administrative records.
Processing timeline
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days, subject to verification and legal requirements.
